The PanaVise 333 rapid assembly circuit board holder is an electronics assembly work-holding tool designed for speed and versatility. The unit consists of three components: a 10″ center shaft integrated into a weighted base, a pair of circuit holder arms connected by a square crossbar, and an adjustable connector linking the crossbar to the center shaft.
The circuit board holder arms slide along the 14″ crossbar, allowing circuit boards up to 12″ to be held. (A minimum of 1″ of cross bar length is required to support each circuit board holder arm) Arms are locked into place by two tightening knobs at their bases. V-shaped grooves along the inner edge of the arms ensure that circuit boards are securely held, while notches positioned laterally near their tips can be used to hold small electronic parts. The right circuit board holder arm includes a ratcheting lever that allows for a fine adjustment of the opening between the two ams. This allows for fast mounting and removal of circuit boards without having to loosen the main adjustment knob of the holder arms. The connector between the center rod and the crossbar swivels to eight adjustable positions, as well as six positive lock positions on the vertical plane. Variable height adjustments can also be made along the center rod. The weighted base is five lb. and formed of cast iron with wing structures at the sides which spread its weight, increasing the PanaVise 333’s stability. Each of the winged sections contains a pre-drilled and tapped hole suitable for mounting accessories.
