The New AP builds upon this system by giving you an 8.5″ clamping capacity for your larger projects. It also comes with the dynamic X-Pad accessory, which offers you 2-in-1 hold-down and inline clamping pressure. The X-Pad works with your downward pressure and torque to apply inline pressure without lifting the material off the flat work surface like traditional inline clamps.
